Peter T. Sorce, CMB

President & Chief Executive Officer

Peter serves as president of Midwest Loan Services, directing all aspects of the mortgage subservicing operation. He has more than 25 years of experience in mortgage banking, mortgage servicing, auditing and compliance. Peter was a co-founder of QR Lending, Inc. (Greystone Residential Funding, Inc.), a nationwide residential mortgage services company, where he held the titles of executive vice president & chief operating officer and chief financial officer. His experience also includes 12 years (combined) with Washington Mutual Home Loans Inc. and Fleet Mortgage Corp. where he served as first vice president and strategy manager. Peter earned the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) and Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) (fna Certified Cash Manager (CCM)) designations and is a member in good standing of the Society of Certified Mortgage Bankers, the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA),  the American Bankers Association (ABA) and the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA). He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in accounting and a minor emphasis in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.


Rhonda M. Welsh

Senior Vice President Loan Administration

Rhonda is the SVP of loan administration and has over 25 years of mortgage banking and mortgage servicing experience. She oversees Midwest’s customer service/call center and mail room, as well as daily operations regarding insurance/escrow, tax, new loan boarding, special loans, release and payment processing. Previously, Rhonda was vice president and director of loan servicing for QR Lending, Inc., and assistant Vice president for CUNA Mutual Mortgage Corporation, a national mortgage originator and servicing/subservicing provider servicing $11 billion in mortgages. Ms. Welsh holds an associate’s degree in marketing from Madison College.


Jon Rastello

Vice President Business Administration

Jon has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 13 years in mortgage servicing. He currently oversees Midwest’s quality control, quality assurance and lean processing initiatives and acts as a liaison between operations and the IT group. Jon has gained a wide range of servicing operations experience from  serving as Midwest’s payment processing manager and servicing manager. Prior to Midwest Loan Services, he was an operations officer for D&N Bank, where his responsibilities included oversight of the item processing and lockbox operations. Jon also worked as a programmer/analyst for D&N Bank and other companies. Jon has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan Tech University.


Bozena (Bo) Drelich

Vice President Default Administration

With more than 14 years of experience in mortgage servicing and originations, Bo  oversees all default areas at Midwest Loan Services, including: collections, loss mitigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy and claims. Prior to joining Midwest, Bo held various positions in the mortgage industry and gained valuable knowledge of originations, underwriting, loan processing, escrow management and default administration. Bo has taken numerous training courses with The American Bankers Association (ABA), the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA), the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (FHLMC), Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and the Veterans Association (VA.) Additionally, she has passed the SAFE Act exam.


Rachelle F. Berger

Vice President Business Development

Rachelle ​is responsible for all day-to-day activities and the strategic planning of business development at Midwest, including sales, marketing, and promotional activities.  ​Rachelle has over 30 years of experience in sales, relationship management, and loan servicing for mortgage, consumer, and commercial banking.  Rachelle’s ​prior experience includes sales management positions with Summit Credit Union and Advia Credit Union, as well as ​several years of mortgage and commercial lending experience at financial institutions ​including US Bank and Wintrust.  Rachelle holds a degree in Financial Economics from the University of Wisconsin Parkside and is ​currently completing a degree in Business Management.
