As I embark on my journey with Midwest Loan Services (MLS), I am filled with excitement and a deep sense of purpose. Coming from very modest beginnings, with parents who worked full-time as a teacher and an insurance agent to afford our home, I learned to value the American dream of home ownership from an early age. This background allowed me to appreciate the significance of exceptional loan servicing in making homeownership a reality for countless individuals and families.
When I joined MLS as the President & CEO in January 2023, I knew I was stepping into a role that would challenge me to lead with integrity, vision, and compassion. With over two decades of experience in the industry, I had witnessed firsthand the transformative power of exceptional loan servicing and the positive impact it could have on the lives of borrowers and the success of our clients. Now, as I rise in responsibilities to lead this esteemed mortgage servicer, I am determined to expand on the legacy of customer service excellence that MLS is known for.
What sets MLS apart is our unwavering commitment to innovation and continuous improvement. We are constantly exploring new technologies, processes, and strategies to enhance our services and stay ahead of the curve in an ever-evolving industry. This spirit of innovation is deeply ingrained in our culture, and it drives us to push boundaries and find creative solutions to the challenges our clients face.
One of the most exciting developments since I joined MLS has been our expansion from our headquarters in Hancock, Michigan, to a new office in Jacksonville, Florida. This strategic move allows us to tap into the rich talent pool of mortgage servicing professionals in the Jacksonville area, while also positioning us closer to many of our clients in the southeastern United States. By expanding our footprint, we are better equipped to serve our clients with the local expertise and personalized attention they deserve. This expansion not only enhances our operational capabilities but also reinforces our commitment to assembling the best talent in the industry.
